1. Child sexual abuse material
If you encounter any sexual image or video of a person under 18, anywhere, report it immediately to a hotline. Do not download, copy or share it, not even to send it to us.
- United States: NCMEC CyberTipline, report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
- United Kingdom: Internet Watch Foundation, report.iwf.org.uk.
- EU and other countries: your national INHOPE hotline, inhope.org.
Then tell us at [email protected] which page on PornVerdict links to the website concerned. We remove such links immediately, without waiting for verification, and report the website to the authorities as described in 18 U.S.C. § 2258A where it applies to us.
2. Non consensual intimate images and deepfakes
If an intimate image or video of you, or a sexually explicit AI generated or manipulated image of you (a "deepfake"), has been published without your consent on a website we review or link to, we will help.
- Email [email protected] with the subject "NCII". Include the page on PornVerdict involved, the URL of the content on the third party website, a statement that you are the person depicted (or authorised to act for them) and that the content was published without consent, and a way to contact you. A physical or electronic signature is enough; you do not need to send ID or the images.
- We aim to act within 48 hours, in line with the timeline of the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act (Pub. L. 119-12, 2025). Where PornVerdict itself displays anything depicting you, such as a screenshot, we remove it. Where the content is on another website, we remove or disable our links to the page concerned and will consider removing the website from PornVerdict entirely.
- To stop images spreading across platforms, use StopNCII.org (adults) or NCMEC's Take It Down (images taken when you were under 18). In the UK you can also contact the Revenge Porn Helpline.
We do not review websites whose main purpose is leaked, hidden camera, stolen or non consensual content.
3. Corrections for website owners
If you operate a website reviewed on PornVerdict and a fact is wrong or outdated (for example price, catalogue size, features, ownership, a broken link or an old screenshot), send the URL of our page, the statement concerned and evidence of the correct information to [email protected]. We check corrections free of charge and fix verified factual errors, normally within 7 days. We may also re-test the website and update its score. Scores and opinions are not changed on request; see the Editorial Disclaimer.
4. Asking to be removed from PornVerdict
We review websites that are publicly available, for the information of adult visitors. Owners can ask us to stop using their logo or screenshot, and we will replace it. Requests to remove a review entirely are considered case by case; we normally keep honest reviews online, but we remove pages where the law requires it or where the website has closed.
5. Other illegal content and rights
You can also report content on PornVerdict that you believe is illegal under the law of your country or infringes your rights, for example defamation, a privacy or personality right, a trademark, or a link to a website that is unlawful. Copyright complaints are best sent under our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
6. How to send a report
Email [email protected] (or the address named above for your type of request) with:
- the exact URL(s) on pornverdict.com and, where relevant, the third party URL;
- a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content illegal or wrong;
- your name and email address (you may stay anonymous when reporting child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.
These elements follow Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act and help us decide quickly.
7. How we handle reports
- We confirm receipt and review every report in a timely, diligent, non arbitrary and objective manner.
- Child abuse material: immediate removal. Non consensual intimate imagery: within 48 hours. Other illegal content: normally within 7 days.
- We tell you our decision and the reasons. Where we remove or restrict something, the affected person is told the reasons too where that is possible and lawful, in line with Article 17 DSA.
- Decisions are made by people. We do not use automated systems to decide on reports.
8. Disagreeing with our decision
If you disagree with a decision, reply to our email within 6 months explaining why, and a different person will look at it again. Users in the EU may also turn to a certified out of court dispute settlement body under Article 21 DSA, or to the courts; in every country you keep the right to go to court.
9. Requests from authorities
Law enforcement, courts and regulators, including EU Digital Services Coordinators, the European Commission and Ofcom, can reach our single point of contact at [email protected] in English. Orders to act against illegal content or to provide information are handled with priority. See the Contact & Legal Notice page.
