1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data on your device without sending it with every request. Both are covered by this policy.
2. Analytics and how to turn it off
PornVerdict uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is on by default: by using the site you agree to the analytics cookies listed below. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off automatically.
To turn analytics off, use any of these:
- Click (also "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page) and choose "Turn off analytics". The Google script stops from that moment, the Google Analytics cookies on our domain are deleted, and your choice is remembered on this device.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or privacy extension. Some browsers, such as Brave, send it by default.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which blocks Google Analytics on every website.
- Block or delete cookies for pornverdict.com in your browser settings (see section 5).
Turning analytics off changes nothing else: every page works exactly the same. You can turn it back on in the same settings window.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, social media or fingerprinting cookies. Our servers do not set cookies. Google's use of analytics data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites; you can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
4. Third party websites
When you click a "Visit" link, the website you go to, and any affiliate network in between, may set its own cookies, for example to record that you were referred by PornVerdict. Those cookies are controlled by them, not by us, and are described in their own cookie policies. See our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
All browsers let you view and delete cookies and site data and block cookies entirely, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Site settings. Private or incognito windows delete them when closed. Blocking local storage only means we cannot remember that you turned analytics off, so use Global Privacy Control or the Google add-on instead.
6. Legal basis
Storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you request is exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC (as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC) and regulation 6(4) of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Analytics cookies are set when you use the site after being informed by this policy and the notice in the footer; by continuing to use PornVerdict you agree to them, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time, as easily as described in section 2, with effect for the future. California and other U.S. state laws: we do not sell or share data through cookies, and we honour Global Privacy Control. Further details on how analytics data is processed are in our Privacy Policy.
