More Back Issues Than Your Uncle's Garage

I went clicking through the pagination out of pure curiosity and stopped caring once I realized there are more than 930 pages of listings. Each page carries about a dozen issues, so you're looking at well over 11,000 magazines in total. That's not a weekend project. That's a retirement plan.

What surprised me was how fresh the front page is. The newest uploads sit right at the top, and plenty of them came out within the last few months, so this isn't just a dusty museum of the 70s and 80s. You can catch up on current issues, see which starlets are landing cover spots right now, then scroll back a few hundred pages and watch the hair get bigger and the airbrushing get worse.

Covers That Do Half the Work

The archive is massive, the covers are hot, and it stays current, which is more than I expected from a site that has been kicking since 2002.

The flaws are real, though. Bulk downloading is slow unless you pay a file host, and finding exactly what you want means hacking around with listing tags. Neither one kills the fun if you're just grabbing a few issues for tonight.
