The WankzVR Front Page Gets Out of Your Way

The design is dark, almost black, with a clean white menu across the top and big fat preview boxes running down the middle. Up top you get Videos, Pornstars, Interactive, Favorites, Discussion, Get Help and Live Cams. That's it. No flashing banners, no pop-under hell, no fake 'your webcam is on' nonsense.

The previews are static stills, not animated. I rolled my eyes at first, then realized animating a 180 degree VR clip in a thumbnail would look like a funhouse mirror anyway. Each box shows a big promo shot, the performer's name and the scene title, so you know in half a second if it's worth a click.

Open a scene and it's all laid out for you: rating, runtime, upload date, the full tag list and a short description. There's also a little feedback and help button right there, which is handy when your headset decides to throw a tantrum. Right next to the promo image sits the device picker, which I'll get to in a minute because it's the best thing on the site.

What You're Actually Jerking Off To

The catalog sits north of 300 scenes, and here's the part I care about most: they drop two new ones every week. Two. Plenty of VR sites post something in March and then vanish until Christmas, so a steady twice-weekly schedule is honestly rare in this corner of porn.

Everything is shot in house, exclusively for this site, and they pull in real names rather than random unknowns. Dakota Skye popped up with a scene called 'The New Guy' while I was browsing, and I may have lost a few productive hours there. The scenes are clearly directed for VR too. This is where WankzVR earns its money. Pick your device from the list and it hands you the right file for it, with a bunch of format options and resolutions topping out at 1080p at 60 frames per second. No guessing, no googling what 'SBS' means at 2 a.m. with your pants already off.

Real talk, though: on a modern high-end headset, 1080p isn't the sharpest thing you'll ever see. It looked great on my phone in a cheap viewer, but if you've dropped serious cash on a fancy rig you'll notice it's not the crispest picture around. The 60fps helps, motion stays smooth and I never felt that queasy stutter some VR porn gives you.

Don't feel like downloading a whole file just to see if a scene is any good? There's a web player that streams right in the browser. I used it a lot for sampling before committing storage space.

I couldn't find a proper app anywhere, just the mobile site, and honestly I didn't miss one. I did most of my browsing on my phone. You can tilt it around to look through the scene like a window, or drop it into a viewer and go full immersion. Logging in, downloading and streaming all work just as well as on desktop. You could technically do this anywhere, but please, keep it at home.

Toys, Forums and the Tabs Nobody Tells You About

The Interactive tab is for the rich bastards among you. Hook up a Fleshlight in a Kiiroo dock and it moves in sync with what's happening on screen. I didn't have the gear, so I can only tell you it exists and that the idea alone made my wallet flinch.

Favorites does exactly what you'd guess, a personal playlist of scenes you plan to come back to. The Discussion section is the surprise. It's basically a forum where members chat about VR porn, pitch scene ideas and ask the studio to go after specific performers. I'd love to see a few of my own crushes show up because of it, and apparently that's the whole point.

There's also a Live Cams tab. From what I could tell the cams are meant to be VR friendly. They worked fine on my phone, but I didn't test them in a proper headset, so take that one for a spin yourself.

Is WankzVR Premium Worth Paying For?

I'm not going to quote you a price, because these things shift and I'd rather you check the join page yourself. What I can say is it didn't feel like a ripoff for an exclusive studio with this update pace. When I looked, the premium membership also came with a free cardboard-style viewer for your smartphone, which is a pretty cheeky way to kill the 'I don't own a headset' excuse.

Free access? Nope. You can browse the preview pages and eyeball the promo shots, but the actual scenes sit behind the paywall. As for safe and legit, the site has been running since 2016, belongs to an established network and doesn't serve ads inside, so I never hit sketchy redirects or popups.

If a scene won't play or the site seems down, the Get Help tab is genuinely useful. You tell it which setup you're using and they troubleshoot from there, and the FAQ covers most of the dumb stuff (usually you downloaded the wrong format).

Where It Falls Short, Plus Sites Like Wankzone.com

My big gripe is navigation. There's no category page and no proper tags page to browse from, even though every scene is tagged. With a catalog in the hundreds it's still manageable, but if you want to go straight to one specific fetish, you're scrolling. Fix it, guys.

The other thing is just the nature of a single studio. Everything has the same house style, which is great if you like it and boring if you crave variety. WankzVR is what I'd hand a buddy who just bought his first headset and wants the good stuff without a learning curve. The downloads are dead simple for any device, the support actually helps, the scenes are shot for VR by people who get it, and two fresh ones a week keeps the spank bank stocked.

The resolution cap and the missing category browser keep it from being perfect. Still, for exclusive VR porn with real stars and no ad garbage, I'd pay for it again.
