First Look at XloveCam: A Wall of Skin

The homepage does exactly what a cam site homepage should do. You get row after row of thumbnails, women in lingerie or already topless, all basically waving you into their rooms. On the very first screen I spotted pretty much every age, skin tone, hair color and cup size you could ask for, so nobody's taste gets left out in the cold.

Hover over any thumbnail and you get a little live preview of what's happening in the room. That's handy, because a profile photo taken in perfect lighting three months ago tells you nothing about whether she's currently fingering herself or eating a sandwich. The default sort puts the most recent logins at the top, which I actually like. Fresh arrivals are usually the most eager, so hit them before they get bored and wander off.

I checked in around midday on a Monday, hardly prime time for horny strangers, and there were still well over 400 models live. That's a healthy crowd for a lunchtime wank. The sidebar was also promoting the site's own Topless events, including a 24-hour marathon with more than a thousand models signed up and a Halloween themed party. Those are the site hyping itself, by the way, not third party garbage. I didn't run into ads at all, which is rare and very welcome.

Is XloveCam Free, or Do You Need to Pay Up?

Both, kind of. By our count about 60% of what you can see costs nothing, and you don't even need an account to watch the public rooms. Before I'd logged in I'd already spent a few happy minutes with a dark-haired MILF called Dalilahsex, who was playing with her very large tits and singing along to No Doubt. Not the worst way to kill a coffee break.

But let's be real. This is a paysite wearing a free sampler as a coat. The good stuff (private shows, requests, getting a model to actually pay attention to you) runs on credits, and as far as I could tell there's no flat monthly premium plan, just a balance you top up and burn through. Models also respond a lot better to guys who've tipped, so showing up broke and typing demands in the chat is a great way to get ignored.

The upside is that it can be pretty cheap. You can sort models by their rates, and while some won't do anything for less than $4.00, nearly a quarter of the ones online during my visit were charging under a dollar. Dalilahsex, for example, listed her Sneak Peek at $0.91 and a full private show at $1.14 a minute. For live, one-on-one T&A, that's bargain bin pricing.

Filters, Profiles and the Sneak Peek Trick

The left sidebar is where you narrow things down. You can filter by rate, body type, hair color, eye color, age, ethnic group, chat type and what the model is into. There's also an Action Panel that lets you show only the models with interactive toys, the ones who take virtual gifts (fake diamonds, teddy bears, the usual cam site bling), or the ones open to live action requests. I didn't clock that last one at first, then asked a model for something specific later and got it. These women are here to work.

Profiles are genuinely useful. Each one lists the model's prices and a menu of what she's willing to do, and some of those menus get spicy. Dalilahsex's list covered anal, squirting, spanking, nylon, oil, live orgasms, armpits and older men, among plenty of others. There's also a rough schedule based on when she's streamed before, plus whatever photos and videos she's uploaded and a spot for comments and messages.

My favorite feature is the Sneak Peek. When a model is already in a private show, you can pay a small fee to peek in for a few minutes. I did this with a woman named FontaineLovelly, who was lying in bed topless and giggling at somebody else's dime. It's voyeuristic in the best way, and cheaper than committing to a full private. Logging in was slightly annoying, since the site made me enter my details three times before it stuck. Minor, but you'll notice.

Buzzing a Lush From My Couch

After seeing a pink tube dangling out of a few performers, I had to try the interactive toy thing properly. The toy filter cut the list down to a couple dozen models, and I picked AmandaAlice, whose Sneak Peek was a close up of her rubbing a vibrating toy on her clit. Perfect. Is XloveCam Safe, and Why Does It Act Up?

From what I saw, it's a legit operation. It's been around since 2006, there are no ads shoving sketchy pop-ups in your face, and paying for a private show got me exactly what I paid for. The usual cam site rule still applies: set a budget before you start, because credits drain faster than you'd believe when a redhead is moaning your screen name.

If XloveCam isn't working for you, the login hiccup I hit is the likeliest culprit, so try again or clear your cookies before assuming it's down. The design also feels like it was built back in the Flash days and never fully modernized, which can make it clunky on some setups. Stream quality varies a lot between models too, and I wanted more of them broadcasting in proper HD.

I didn't find a dedicated XloveCam app, just the website, which loaded fine in my phone's browser. And if you've been typing "xcamlove" or "x love cam" into your search bar at 2 a.m., relax, it's the same place. Your fingers were clearly busy with other things.

My Honest Take and Where Else to Look

XloveCam won't win any beauty contests, and it knows the best action sits behind a paywall. Still, I had a genuinely good time. The free rooms are worth a browse, private shows start cheap, the Sneak Peek is a great way to snoop on a budget, and remote controlling a Lush is the most fun I've had with a cam site's feature set in a while.
