What GetTranny Actually Is

The pitch is simple. GetTranny is a free tube that only does trans porn. That sounds obvious from the name, but it matters more than you'd think. On the big general tubes, trans content gets shoved into one category and buried under mislabeled uploads, so you end up scrolling past cis porn with 'shemale' slapped in the title for clicks. Here the whole library stays on topic from the first thumbnail to the last.

The library is a decent size, too. The count sits at well over 18,000 videos, and new uploads land often enough that the Latest tab never felt stale while I was using it. That's nowhere near the raw volume of something like PornHub's trans section, but volume isn't the point here. Focus is.

Since 2007 is a long time in tube years, and you can kind of tell. The layout is classic tube: a grid of thumbnails, a menu across the top, nothing fancy. I don't mind that at all, because fancy usually means slow, and slow is the last thing you want with your pants around your ankles.

Categories That Don't Make You Dig

Specialist trans tubes are weirdly bad at categories. A lot of them give you five vague buckets and then a tag cloud the size of a phone book. GetTranny bothered with a proper category page, and it covers what you'd actually go looking for: anal, big cock, trans on trans, guy on trans, stockings and a good stack more.

Fair warning, the labels use the same old vocabulary as the domain, so expect 'shemale' in a few of them. That's porn SEO from another era. The videos inside are fine, and the sorting itself is genuinely useful.

The thumbnails do a lot of the heavy lifting. Hover over one and it plays a short animated preview. Each listing also shows the title, runtime, rating and view count, so you can sniff out a dud before you click. A little clock icon drops a video into a Watch Later list, which is handy when you're lining up a longer session.

Click through and the video page gives you ratings, a comment section and a Favorites button. The comments are the usual tube mix: hearts, one-word reviews and the occasional guy who needs everyone to know exactly what he's doing right now. Nobody reads them for the prose.

Pornstars, Channels and Filters for the Picky Wanker

The Pornstars tab lists a bit over 60 performers. That's a small roster, no point pretending otherwise, but I like how it's presented. Every profile shows how many videos she has on the site and how many views she has racked up in total. You can see the crowd favorites at a glance, and you might finally learn the name of someone you've been jerking off to for years.

Channels work the same way for studios. Pick a brand and you get only their uploads. That's great if you already like a particular production style and don't want to wade through shaky phone footage to find it.

The filters are where the site quietly earns its keep. You can sort by popularity, upload date, length, number of comments or rating, then narrow things to today, this week, this month or all time. There's also a duration band that runs from under 10 minutes to over 40, plus shortcuts for Most Popular, Top Rated and Latest. Stack a couple of those and you go from bored to 'this is the one' in about a minute, which is more than I can say for half the tubes in my bookmarks.

Is GetTranny Free and Safe to Use?

Mostly free, yes. By our count about 68% of the content plays with no strings attached, and you never have to register just to watch. The remaining chunk seems to lean on paid channels and studio promos rather than full streams, so now and then a thumbnail leads somewhere that wants your card. I couldn't find a premium plan run by the site itself, and I wouldn't bother looking for one.

A free account is what makes Favorites stick, and from what I saw it covers your Watch Later list too. Signing up is quick and painless. If you just want to pop in, finish and close the tab, skip it entirely.

On safety, the ads are moderate. You'll see banners and the odd promo, but nothing like the pop-up avalanche on shadier trans tubes, and nothing tried to sneak junk onto my machine. Is it legit? Running since 2007 is a decent sign. The usual rules still apply: use an ad blocker, keep your browser updated and never type card details into a random popup.

Mobile, Apps and Why gettranny.com Won't Load

I couldn't find a proper app, and I didn't expect one, since app stores aren't lining up to host trans porn. What you get is the regular site in your phone browser, and it works fine. Thumbnails stack neatly, playback felt smooth on my phone over Wi-Fi, and the menus shrink down without turning into a puzzle.

If the site isn't working for you, it's usually one of the boring suspects. Workplaces, schools, some ISPs and public Wi-Fi networks block adult domains, so try mobile data or a VPN. Strict ad blockers sometimes break video players, so whitelist the page if nothing plays. And check your spelling, because I've seen people type gettrany, gettrannny or gettranny.co and then swear the site is dead.

If it really is down, give it an hour. A tube that has survived this long tends to come back.

My Honest Bottom Line on GetTranny

GetTranny isn't flashy, and the name belongs in a museum. But as a mostly free, no-signup trans tube with real filters and a library that stays on topic, it does exactly what you want it to do. It's earned a spot in my spank bank rotation.
