A Porn Switchboard, Not a Porn Studio

Here's how a session goes. You pick a category or type a search, a grid of thumbnails shows up, you click the one that looks promising, and boom, you're on Pornhub, RedTube, xHamster or some smaller host you've never heard of. The player, the buffering and the ads wrapped around the video all belong to whoever hosts the clip. TubeGalore is just the guy holding the map.

The upside is scale. Because it isn't paying to store or stream anything, it can index a ridiculous number of videos from all over the place, and it seems to refresh constantly. I kept running into clips I'd never seen on the big tubes' own front pages, because those sites bury older stuff and this one doesn't care how old anything is.
